Is Kohl's projector online or in store only? What is brand / model? Thanks

Only saw in newspaper circular. Brand not mentioned. Believe color was white and green.
Hey Mike thanks for the heads up on the HF driveway alarms. Wanted to make it there before Halloween to take advantage of the low 13.99 price then (that's really low for it) but clearly 9.99 is quite special. Almost makes me wonder if they are closing their stock out shortly. Sometimes it seems like their items are always sold but they sold out of their pressure mats before I went looking for them and haven't gotten back in. Been a few years now I think. So just speculation here on the Bunker Hill alarms but haunters should keep it in mind.

BTW Mike are you aware of the Fixed Channel on those Bunker Hill devices (should be listed on outside of box)? Sometimes its a nice thing to have the same channel, sometimes a benefit to have separate channels depending on how you will use it. Online you won't have a choice, it will be what they send you. I have two Channel 19 devices which I'll use on my two John Doe props to trigger them, allowing my Mad Lab dead bodies to rise from the dead at the same time, but don't want other stuff plugged into additional alarms to get set off at the same time so will definitely be hitting the Black Friday crowds just for them.

You're welcome. Transitive thanks go to BobbyA and others who alerted me about a real or potential for the 9.99 price. Had to pay shipping costs, but locked in the price. Yup, also aware of the Channel issue. If I don't get the "right" blend of Channels, sounds like I can do the mod folks have suggested in another thread. Or, if the Bunker Hills are labeled in my local HFT--now that I'm home from holiday travel--I can try to do an exchange. It was more important to me to lock-in the price and be done with it, and not going out into the Black Friday madness physically.

Your intended use of the alarms sounds cool.

at this price, i'd thought i'd better "stock up" :):D

if they're all the same frequency/channel i'll exchange them at my "local" (1 hour drive) hf store

Bought 2-CH1; 2-CH2; 3-CH3; and 3-CH4 alerts. Since this was an unplanned purchase (don't have a set up in mind yet) it was really hard to decide how many of each channel to get. Can't imagine wanting too many things to trigger at same time, more for various scenes when I do a whole yard haunt....although if I was to do a doll type room that might be cool to have lots of things come to life and make noise at once.

Very cool AMK and Spookie. @Spookie, as always, love your ideas. Thanks also for your sleuthing about the older model of this device / SKU # on another thread. I have a HFT that I pass by to / from work each day. Could even hit it during lunch. So would be easy to return. Like you, I'm not sure how many of each channel I want, since I have no formal Requirements yet.

Still researching finding a local hosting org, and deserving charity, to establish an annual 100% for charity Haunted Attraction in the Raleigh, NC area. No luck yet finding a hosting org that can get me free access to a Show Building. But still in early stages of my search.

It would be fantastic to do a semi-pro charity haunt. The same frugality I apply to my home haunt, I'd apply to the charity haunt; substituting, hopefully, brains for expense dollars. Sometimes constraints really ignite the imagination--and really can let you Do More With Less.

Has anyone here established, or been deeply involved with, a charity haunt? If so, I might like to PM you offline with questions as I proceed.

Cyber Monday: Blue laser Blisslight on QVC - may or may not still be available

I found a blue laser dot model on QVC under a different SKU for $100 + shipping. Blue was literally the only color choice available. I quickly jumped on it, figuring I could return it if it's not what I want. Not enough time to research but posting link:

http://www.qvc.com/Ships-125-BlissLights-Outdoor-Indoor-Spright-Smart-Firefly-Light.product.H205108.html?sc=H205108-SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-1-_-H205108&catentryImage=http://images.qvc.com/is/image/h/08/h205108.001?$uslarge$

You can go to QVC.com and search on: firefly
... to bring up the two models. They still have the $160 model, all 3 colors, but marked as on Waitlist.

EDIT: After I placed my order and revisited the link, it said these were no longer available. Not sure if this is a gimmick, or if stock will show-up later in the day. It's 6:13am Eastern time for jeep's sake! Hoping my order is processed. Or that they'll at least honor the price if it's backordered. Also hope the coverage is the same as the other unit.

I have a separate thread where I was looking for a blue laser dot light similar to the cheapie $15 green laser dot light many of us have been using this season (from Amazon and eBay). Here's the thread. I consider this a multi-holiday unit, since I'd certainly use it for Halloween and that Other Big Holiday:

So, no Halloween Cyber Monday deals out there?

Seems a little, *ahem*, dead around here. :)

Zzzzzzzz. (Sound of hiberating in winter cold elsewhere or rainy weather in California).
The Harbor Freight Tools Bunker Hill driveway alarms are on sale again for $9.99 through Sunday 12/7:

So what does one use a "Driveway Alarm" for, exactly?
So what does one use a "Driveway Alarm" for, exactly?
To have motion turn on sound activated props. These are radio frequency and not IR (line of site), so they transmit pretty far. Probably other uses with a bit of imagination. Not sure how I'll use mine yet.
I've always used mine for security. It lets me know if anyone is out there and this year when it was raining/cold and I couldn't sit outside like I always do it came in real handy to let me know when a TOTer was coming up the drive.

This week my street was hit by jerks drilling holes in gas tanks on my neighbors cars. My truck wasn't bothered, probably because of all the cameras and lights I have but I informed my neighbors about these cheap driveway alarms. Does anyone know if they will interfere with eachother if we have several on my street soon?
