So our driveway has a basketball hoop in it and instead of moving it, I usually keep it in the display by hanging ghosts from it.

This year I wanted to do something more than just simply hang a ghoul or two. Does anybody have any ideas on how to utilize a basketball hoop?

My theme this year is Old West/Ghost Town, but I'm sure I can tweak any ideas in order to fit in. Thanks!

Found this one online...maybe not so cutesy and add in a cowboy hat...swap the pumpkin for a pistol...

A gallows for a hangman's noose??

Is it freestanding or fixed to the wall? If its free standing I would turn it around so you lose the net. You could then make a giant reaper, as suggested a gallows, make a giant half pumpkin head to fix to the rear of the backboard and then build a giant scarecrow off the upright, piping fog up a pipe to tumble out of its glowing head. You could make a neon type sign from EL wire (dropping in what I just did) to have flashing above everyones heads....
