I did this with a cheapo clock mechanism available at craft stores or thrift stores in used clocks.
You need two things to make it work:
1. a motor that turns the right direction.
2. a drive mech to attach the motor shaft to the time adjustment wheel on the clock mech.
P.S. I wore out the clock mech in a season. Need to make another one.
