The trees were black against the pale dusk sky. The air was still and a very light fog hovered above the ground. An amber glow shown through a window just beyond my hedge. If I squinted a bit it could have been a Jack-O-Lantern. And I sat there--watching two bats darting above me.

If it wasn't for all the happy flowers, I'd swear it was Halloween! It was a very awesome few minutes, so I had to come in and post.

Well, I was getting EATEN ALIVE by the mosquitos!

You are correct, Skulkin. But, the bats were getting the high-flying ones and I was getting the low-lifes!
