Well we finally found a use for this great set piece. I picked up this artificial lung device for $90 at a used industrial equipment warehouse. We are just in the beginning stages of this prop - hope to have it done by 31st. Images are of work done today.

Hope you like,

ok, you do this professionally I see. lol The question is...how the hell do you come across something like this. Was it advertised? That is damn cheap for something so awesome!

Update

We decided that we would make the prop stand upright. Part of it had to do with not wanting to have to build a table for it, plus the corpse actually moves better when in a vertical position. Lucky we had a metal stand with wheels that we could mount it to. About 75% finished - more pictures to come.

Also - here are some pictures of the mechanism we built for our electric chair prop last year. Normally you would use a straight bar connected to the off-set wheel, but we found that the bent arm created more of a violent shake.

Thanks,

BHSFX
