I went out to the garage, in the heat, to get a couple things done and my last grey spray paint won't work, (none of the usual tricks fixed it), AND I am out of Mastic Tape!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got all sweaty for NOTHING!

Do you mean masking tape?....I've got TONS of it but every time I need it, I can't find it so I made a tape drawer in my workbench and have been throwing all kinds of tape in there over the last 6 months as I find it....It's amazing how many different types of tape there are....LOL.....It's been absolutely miserable this week at work....Energy has been so zapped by the time I get home, I get a shower and stay in the AC all evening....I've been watching some old 1930's scary movies in the evening which has been a nice change.....ZR

No no no mastic tape. Self sticking rubber electrical tape. Not sticky just sticks to itself. Best thing in the world for waterproofing cord connections, putting a flexible rubber coating on wire that also reinforces it, and since there is no gooey adhesive it lasts much longer than regular electrical tape. I also love to sculpt spooky hands with it, cover wire for wings to make them more bulky, and it's good for making spines and horns that won't kill someone on costumes.
