Steampunk author Cherie Priest bought this plastic pumpkin at a Wal-Mart years ago, so it's no longer available - but it's a great inspiration piece: - See more at: http://www.epbot.com/2012_09_23_archive.html#sthash.j0TJzM6U.dpuf

Cherie Priest:
I've had it for years. Got it at Wal-Mart, of all places. I found it on a "seasonal" shelf - all alone, none other of its kind. Five bucks. Bought it on the spot. Haven't seen one since - for sale, or in anyone else's possession :)

So it's one of those great finds we come across & just never see again. Whodathunk Walmart would have something that cool? Looks like you could replicate it with a fake pumpkin if you had the time & inclination.

Thanks for finding some information, I kinda figured this was something that was sold in shops many years ago and then disappears never to be seen again... Even if my chances of finding one are slim to none, I'll keep my eyes open.
