I have another shooting gallery idea itching to be built

Think classic shooting gallery mixed with back projected interactive atmos fx monsters to shoot. Building some nice spooky scene in the backyard and adding some projected targets and maybe a few real targets.

What do you think?

• The monster rising from the ground
• Some evil breathing and growling sounds
• The monster throws some light balls at the player (maybe some audio and light feedback close to the player)
• Player shoots monster
• Player kills monster

Cool idea, but how do you determine when there is a “hit” on a projected image?

I don't think i will solve that one

The idea is to have a physical target on the side of the monster. So when the monster jumps up the target will light up. The idea is to use a laser pointer type gun or maybe harry potter style magic wand laser pointer. Then use light sensors in the target

Testing the laser sensor. Seems to be working pretty fine. Needs to be hit dead on. So I guess I will need 4-5 sensors per target to make the hit are large enough maybe some diffusion.

Hooked it up with the unity project and it seems to be working pretty ok. Serious problem with the multitasking of filming and shooting🔫
