What about simple fan motors? little motors like that can be repurposed into simple moving props, or you could alway's take a simple motor and alter it to make the prop move in different ways, maybe even a simple motion detector that people walk by and trigger. thats all i use is motors, if your trying to do actual animatronics through computer cue's and programming try youtube.
