I have all the components needed to lift the lid of my toe pincher, speed controller wiper motor and all. I just need suggestions on how I should go about lifting the lid itself. Should I build a circular type cog that drops on one side? And if so, does any one have a picture or blueprint handy to guide me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

depends on how wide you want to open the lid.

I just used 1/2 a ying yang. Bolted it to wiper motor and mounted in casket at desired height. Worked great!!!

This year I pumped it up a notch and went pneumatic. Good Luck

You can also just cut out a circle or egg shape piece of wood and mount your motor off center.
