Please, for the love of all that is Halloween related, please test this stuff out in a smaller scale & sooner rather than later so you're not trying to get it ALL done on the big night.

Not that any of us would know anything about that sort of thing. ;) :D
Another thing to pay close attention to is the size of your project. We can make our tombstones with just about any good foam glue and not be concerned. But as we get larger full-sized mausoleums, the need for the glue to hold fast in all types of weather, and to hold up to additional weight and construction needs, becomes critical. It's why we keep experimenting every time a new glue comes out to see what works best for us. As for paint, we get it free from Craigslist, so we can't exactly buy just one brand when we think we've found one we like. But we can at least say we don't need to buy Drylok. It's great stuff if you have the budget for it, but it doesn't seem to hold up or protect any better than our free paint.

Plastic skulls are a bitch to get anything to stick to. Best way I have found to secure them is by running a screw through the back, then squirting some Great stuff foam behind them. Great stuff sticks to almost anything and the screw acts as insurance. Put a big thin washer under the screw if it's going through a foam background, or you can use little pieces of stiff plastic as washers. An 1 1/4 hole saw and the lid to an old tote will make a bunch on perfect plastic washers real quick and cheap.
