Thank you! We had a local Trick-or-Treat outing in our old town main street yesterday, so I went down and gave the kiddies (and some parents!) a nice scare! Had many pictures taken, but forgot to have my daughters (who accompanied me) take any pictures of us ourselves! Many complimentary remarks and a lot of double-takes; it did my ghoulish heart good!

I bought mine on good ol' Amazon-
Amazon.com: Zagone Studios Survivor Skeleton Reaper Gloves, Rotting Zombie Bone Hands: Toys & Games

The jaw on this particular mask was applied a bit crooked at the studio, but it fits the piratey "look".
I have another one of these skull masks in the "Grim Reaper" configuration, that has a burlap hood sewn into the top of the mask, and its jaw is well placed, making it easier to "work" as you talk.
Hope this helps!

Actually, that price right now for the mask, under $40, is a crazy low offering, I may go buy another just to have on hand!

I can't like this enough!! What a fantastic look! The costume is perfect and having owned several Zagone masks in the past (still have a couple) I can say that they are top shelf in terms of comfort and wearability. Really great stuff EK!

Here's a photo that was taken at the event! My two daughters are with me in the background, one is The Grim Reaper, and the other is the vampire/goth girl. The kids in the foreground were one of many groups that asked to take a picture with us:

Isn't the little girl's clown makeup just awesome?

You all look amazing! Is the grim reaper wearing the same mask as you or is it a different one? Just love the intricate detailing!

Yes, kristinms8, it's the same mask: they are the Zagone Studios "basic" moving jaw skull, and their "Grim Reaper" style with a sewn-on burlap hood. The hood matches the "rotting gown" and "rotting tunic" that are also from their studios (and what my daughter is wearing). Those masks are easy to breathe in, and the jaw action is very good, as long as the pieces have been attached properly at the shop. My mask's jaw was applied a bit crooked, but it works for my particular character.
The mask I'm wearing in the picture is one that I've owned since 2012, and there's no sign of stress to the latex or sagging of the fabric under-material. I just purchased the grim reaper mask last month to see if there were any differences; just a better workable jaw!

Our local outdoor shopping plaza held a Trick or Treat "fest" the other evening, which gave my daughter and me another chance to don our Halloween garb! Lots of little revelers were present, and many pictures were taken with us. A member of the facility's staff took a photo of us, and I would like to share it here, both the original pic, and one that I had some fun adding filters to-

These outings have been such a nice respite from all the frustrations and restrictive worries we've endured these last too many months to count.
The added bonus for me is the fact that my teenage daughters still find it worth their time and effort to go a-haunting with their Dad!
Priceless has been our time spent pursuing a passion that seems to have taken hold in my kids' hearts as much as it dwells in mine!

I hope you get as much enjoyment from wearing it as I have! It looks great on you!

Thank you pacman! After doing the photo filtering, I'm convinced that I need to weather and age my attire to get a better "look" when wearing it!

I Bet that would add to the overall effect when you get time to do that Edmund K , the problem when i did that on a certain project like your dead priate costume and similar like zombies and just graveyard thriller type characters is when is distressing too much and not enough lol ? its finding the balance , a bit like the graveyard tombstone , i used to heavily age and distress my tombstones as in our local cemeteries our 200-300 year old stones are severely worn and many barely readable , and also it feels more gothic with the heavy distressing , either way post some photos i,d love to see the distressing when you finish .
