I've seen a variety of store specific posts of merchandise coming up, but I missed the general 'Merchandise Sightings' forum from 2016, so I am opening the 2017 forum. I know many stores are clearing out their Back-To-School promotional areas and filling them up with Fall Decorations and Halloween items. Feel free to update us with your finds, deals, new items or unique promotions going on in your area.

Our Goodwill started setting up last week. They had LOTS of Kmart merchandise, brand new, half of Kmart prices on packaging. So if you've had Kmart closures in your area, definitely check your Goodwills!

I will start with my find from last night. my local Menards is stocking their Halloween section. This is always the official start of the Haunting Season for me. Much of the same stuff as last year, but a few new items. I'll be checking back once they get fully stocked.

Made it into Meijer last night, they are only partially setup, still clearing out Back to School and Summer/grilling merchandise.
Here area few items they have out. I did pick up the "zombie dog" sign I've wanted since last year.

Was able to get out and around this weekend. Some stores have Halloween in full swing like Menards and Home Depot. some seem to be taking their time clearing out their Back to School and Summer grilling like Target and Meijer. check out the following posts for some details.

TARGET! seems to be missing the mark. They have a few small items up in their dollar spot, but in their season aisles they had some candy, and some of their baking and food items. No decorations, No costumes.

LOWES, while having a smaller selection compared to other Hardware / Home Improvement Centers did have a nice assortment of Items. I like their lamppost with directional signs. I actually purchased two hanging banners while there. I also liked the Skull Hourglass.

Family Dollar looks to have their full collection out. Always some good buys here. I picked up some of the hanging ghouls last year, only $5.

BIG LOTS has there selection out, It seems somewhat limited, they are already stocking in their Christmas Displays. Prices don't seem to be very good considering this is Big Lots.

Stopped by the local SPIRIT HALLOWEEN store. Of course they have an outstanding selection. Definitely focusing on some of the bigger props. Prices were quite inflated. Some products I know are at other stores for half as much. If you are looking for the specific Item, they will have it.

Finally made it over to Walmart to check out their collection. They defenitly are more focused on Candy and costumes, but have a fair selection of decorations. I have been looking at the fogging skull for a while now. Maybe I'll pick it up this year

Checked out "5 Below" last night. If you aren't familiar is like and upscaled dollar store. Everything in the store is $5 or below.

They've got some Gouls for $5 that looked a bit on the flimsy side, but I did like their $5 lanterns.
