Chainsaw haunts have been around for a long time. Consider some of the problems encountered over the years by people who had a commercial property .
Noise, smoke, a hot saw to burn someone, and even with the cutting chain/blade removed, that spinning sproket has been known to catch and tangle hair, rip it from the roots.
People will never be 100% predictable or physically coordinated at all times.
"Slamming a door Open" I hope it will be figured out so no one will be slammed by that door.
I had upright coffins for people to hide in. I had holes so the person inside could see if anyone was in front of the coffin door, which works great until small children are the ones slamming it open and can't make use of the vision hole, or the short one walks passed the coffin and gets slammed .
The brain has to be aware enough and have enough energy to constantly be asking:"What could possibly Go Wrong?" Playing numerous scenarios over involving all possible reactions from sometimes terrorized people of all ages, sizes and strengths.
I would rather be a "WET" blanket anytime versus a "Bloody blanket" with the blood of a stranger you might be becoming acquainted with in Court.
A chainsaw Scare can also be had without ever starting one up, if you make the process into an actual "ACT" giving people the time to An-tici-pate .. the worst.
Does someone still make the audio chainsaws? They were very expensive at one time.(At least according to My Wallet.)
In the middle of this long State a Haunt could not find the wrench to remove the chain. A customer reached for that running blade to "SHow OFF" as the saw was being held upright. did this really happen? I think that it did. the person who told me this story was an Insurance adjuster.
I'm not trying to ruin anyone's "DAY" or just be "Mr. Negative", Just trying to help. some of us can't stop giving advice because we are the "First-born" and we actually can blame our Parents for making us this way, from them having us telling our younger siblings what to do and what not to do, I am my Parent's First-born. I hope i may have helped someone here.
