Sick, I know...
My daughter had this old doll that I always thought resembled a young Regan (Linda Blair)
So I decided to make her into a possessed Regan.
Here are some progress pics. I still got a ways to go, I'm trying to find her just the right flannel nightgown, but not having any luck.

Incidentally, I got my daughter's permission to convert her doll first :)
For some odd reason, I don't think she was that thrilled about it though.....

she looks phenomenal !! Since those dolls are somewhat easy and inexpensive to come across, you should consider making several after this one and selling them.

Excellent make-over. How did you prepare the vinyl for paint? and I also want to know the sculpting medium used. I found a rather large doll at our swap shop at the transfer station and want to do something similar. Really creepy!

I've been afraid of Regan since I was 12...lol! But even I can't ignore the work you've done on this doll! She looks just like her.

Thank you all for the nice comments!
I used Apoxie sculpt to do the build up brow and the scars.
I didn't do any prep work to the vinyl before the Apoxie sculpt or paint other than washing it good with soap and water.
The Aves sticks very well to the vinyl.
I used FW acrylic inks to paint the set-up Aves and the vinyl afterward.

Added some cuts and bruising to the arms and legs.

Found her a nightgown...it's not perfect, but will do for now.
Here she is about finished.

A little color manipulation.

Now to find or make a doll bed to display her on.
Hope you like :)
