I have decided that I will do a Dinner Party for Halloween 2019 ... Pirates and Sea Witches ... and this will be held on a Pirate Ship where Pirates and Sea Witches will attend a sit down dinner.
I have had a bit of time on my hands and have been scouring Pinterest and HF to find some type of...
My family always throws a halloween party every year doing one of those mystery dinner parties where everyone is a character. They always go all out so we prepare now by buying the mystery. Has anyone done one of those and have any good recommendations?
As usual I did a fair bit of decorating for Halloween, which is probably strange since I live out in the country where I have never gotten any trick or treat activity. I continue to do it every year though; I enjoy it. I try to go for more of an Edward Gorey look but not a gory look.
This year will be a very interesting year for our party because we will have a baby! Due any day now actually. :D He probably won't attend the party itself ;) , but will be present for all pre-planning involved.
That being said, I will have a lot more time to plan because I will be on...

I was thinking of scaling it back next year and just doing a dinner party for Halloween. I thought a murder mystery dinner party would be fun but I am not a big fan of the pre-made games you can buy online. If you have done a murder mystery dinner in the past I would love for you...
I'm finally using my Madame Leota seance video as my new dinner guest for an upcoming party. I sourced a $3 foam female head from Michaels + a black chamise from goodwill for $2. Some black plastic to create a hood, some strings lights, and an old skeleton to shape the body. Overall, I'm quite...
I was wondering if someone could help me out? I'm having a Tim Burton character themed dinner party for my 30th birthday :) And I am wanting to play some fun, interactive games. One for everyone as a group, and maybe one or two for the individual tables (5 tables). I have Googled and...
From my point and shoot and having to use flash. But the pro shoot pictures should be ready soon. I also took a quick video. These are the best I could do considering I was being paged on the walkie talkie for all sorts of things as I tried to at least get a few pictures!!!!
The true nature of All Hallow's Eve originally known as Samhain (pronounced Sow-en) has a focus on the dinner portion. Apparently, they would light candels in their windows to attract their dead loved ones and when cooking a grand meal, they would leave an empty seat with a full plate of food...
So, gearing up for my Halloween party this year and have decided to do a Cannibal themed dinner party. I've just finalized the menu and now it's time to start getting all my props ready! So excited! I'm so glad to have HF to talk to about all this because I'm so excited I could explode, but I...
Guess I just need to vent and I'm wondering if anyone else has ever felt this way.
We've been in our new house for 2 months now and between home improvements, unpacking/organizing, regular housekeeping, regular life, and with Halloween looming...I'm already overwhelmed and feeling suddenly...
Walking dead is coming back and I am having a premiere dinner party! Here are some crafty invites I made. ( I am only inviting three people, so I only need to make 2 invitations. Or else this would be a ton of work!)
We only throw our blow out/all out party every other year because it is SO much work to decorate, plan and pull off. As much as we LOVE it we usually need the off year to recharge and just revel in Halloween fun. This is an off year but I saw some pictures of a Clue themed party on pinterest...
