I am doing something a bit different this year and leaving the gore behind.
Each year we have a theme party that is announced the previous year and this year will be a Great Gatsby Party. I am working in the phrase “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody” and possibly will have a few of the...

I ordered one for dh to wear to work...he won't wear a costume (it's beneath his dignity as medical director...bleh) but I don't want him to be an old poop, either. Hence....Ugly Sweater!
I think they are adorable and long overdue...
i'm thinking of doing a demon finn balor costume this year, but i don't have much experience with face and body paint. (he's a wwe wrestler...see below.) does anyone have suggestions for a particular type that isn't terribly expensive and covers well?
I am trying to put together a Flapper/Gatsby style Betty Boop costume.
So far I have had not much luck finding a dress similar to hers inside Australia, or a reasonable price to ship to Australia.
But I did find 2 dresses I love and I think could work.
Also, I was thinking of Painting...
Does anyone have any ideas for a costume for a newborn, besides the cheap ones you can buy at Party City? The baby will probably be about a month old. Really it is just for a few pictures, but still. It isn't usually cold here at Halloween, it can actually be pretty hot.
Thanks in advance!

My new Wendigo masks are now available for commissioning!
This one was very fun to make and actually the quickest, completed in just under a month including the sculpting and rubber mold making. Perfect for Wendigo, Demon or devil character costumes, or even for Krampus costumes at christmas...
Hello, fellow costuming enthusiasts.

Here are a couple examples of my concept attempts.
My current project is making a Beauty and the Beast "Beast" costume. Yes, for...
The only definite plan for 2018 is that my husband wants to dress as Captain Spaulding from House of 1000 corpses. I've decided to do the hat and clown shoes out of paper mache, but what material is used for clown costumes? Is it satin? I know there's is a commercial version of the costume...

I was wondering if anyone has ever done an Armand costume that was worn in the IWTV film by Antonio Banderas? It's too late for this season, but I plan on making it for next. The sleeves are unique in that they are split open. Can't seem to find anyone who has so I may be first! :D
Since everyone has jumped on the new "IT" movie I decided to do the same. However I just didn't have time to make my full size figure this year. I have a lot going and still working a few things of my own. Plus his costume is pretty intense. I'm pretty picky and it has to be film perfect. I did...
