Howdy Folks! This is my first post in what feels like eons (on a new account, no less).... and I'm so glad to see this community is still THRIVING, even during the off-season! I've tasked myself with an elaborate project for next year, and it involves something I have little experience with...

This is a really sad post! Due to the extreme wet weather in TX, I have not been able to put up my yard and it is the 26TH!!!:mad::mad: It will be dry for the next few days , so am going to get the yard up over the weekend - HOWEVER there is a chance of Thunder storms on Halloween. How...

There are some idiosyncrasies that set us Haunters apart from less unusual folk. For example; the guy who stops cutting his front lawn the last week of September so that it will grow out and be a little scarier in a months time. Not to mention better to hide power cords... Anybody else got...

This year I've done my first large scale yard haunt (it's so much fun to finally put to use all the fx knowledge i've learned from years of trolling this forum)... and I was prepared for the majority of the expenses, but holy extension cords batman. I'm eating Ramen for the rest of the year to...

I have a couple hundred feet of cords I need to tack to lawn to prevent most tripping (I don't intend for people to be walking over them, but still). I need to put down scores of things that are both easy to install and remove, and ideally won't stab someone or wreck my lawnmower if I miss some...

Since many of our halloween props and lighting decor make use of extension cords, I saw this video I thought worth sharing that illustrates how to manage your extension cords for ease of use and to keep them in good condition. I've always been frustrated with mine especially when you're using a...

Over the years I've found myself picking something each year that I was okay with before, but now I can't stand. One year it was theme, another it was lighting, then it was "how can I get more stuff on the house so it feels like part of the haunt and not a house?" This year it's wires. In the...

Hello fellow haunters As I am sure you all know, this time of year requires many extension cords to keep the frights and scares going. My question is. Is it safe to use an indoor extension cord outside and vice versa? When I look at the gauge, they are exactly the same. They "look" no...

I'm having a hell of a time coming up with funds for Halloween this year. I get 99% of material for free but i was hoping to buy some more tarps and extension cords this year, but 2015 has been an extremely difficult year for us, harder than usual. Anybody else had an harder year than most?

So I am in the market for about (10) outdoor cold weather 16/3 extension cords. I prefer them to be built to last with a NON glare/visable color. I have seen some cords (i.e. PRO GLOW) with a cover that is highly reflective. I plan to position these cords as not to be a tripping hazard so...
