General Information

Name
Headless Horseman
Hours of work
about a month
I had just moved across country and finally had a yard! This was my first big Halloween decorating! Why not celebrate it by making a giant headless horseman? Sadly it's been 4 years so I misplaced a lot of pictures. I made him out of pvc pipe, egg cartons, pillows, and duct tape. He was over 6' tall.

Since it was my first big halloween I was lacking in tools. I made all of those headstones with a dollar store hand saw and nails. I also cut the pvs for headless with the hand saw. My hands were killing me. We hid him in the bushes after halloween.

Thanks for looking!!!

Looks a 1000 times better than something Spirit would sell. Not knocking the company, but your costume distressing and attention to detail make it look like a body is actually inside. Especially impressive with your list of humble components.

I might do another sleepy hallow one year now that I have more tools and experience. I hope to have a garage so I can go all out. ?

Thank you so much! I did a lot of stomping clothing into dirt haha! I'm sure people walking by were confused. It was a whole lot of fun. ?

I did find a making of picture for the horseman. I worked in a bakery so I had access to lots of egg cartons.
