Very cool post on the bust making...coming to life! Awesome. Really great tip on that little video player you found for looping the projection onto the busts. Have you started your Madame Leota project this year? Congratulations on all your work. Any guests to your house are gonna love this addition. Well, especially if they are Haunted Mansion fans. ?

Sorry for the long delay! I started the Madame Leota project but I'm still working through a few technical snags. The one used in the Haunted Mansion had a projector built into an arm chair facing the globe. Based on where I'd like to put Madame Leota, I can't use an armchair; which means placing it underneath the table, and using a set of 45-degree mirrors. The mirror on the table can be hidden with a spell book. I've done the math, and have a reasonable plan; just need to find time to do it.

Meanwhile, I made this Animated Beetlejuice Sign and Beetlejuice Tombstone.

I had a pretty fun idea recently. We have an elevator in our house, and it occurred to me that I could put the stretching room portraits on the elevator shaft walls. So, I got some high resolution digital images from Etsy, and had some posters printed on vinyl from Print4Less. I just need to get my carpenter out to make the frames.
