    Halloween Props
Hi guys, So I've been hard at work on my Pumpkin Sentinel and he's coming along pretty well. Head and body are done and all is good there. Here's my issue....I cut him off mid tibia so I could transition from the corpsed body to the vine/root lower legs and feet. He's corpsed up tot the point...

So I've made some more progress on my Pumpkin Sentinel. Thought I'd share a few progress pics. Next I need to attach his head and hands. Then comes the hard part...the 2 foot long root legs that will be growing into the base he's secured to. Wish me luck on those, I think they're going to be the...

Sorry man. Someone earlier on in the thread had asked about the differences in the Costco vs the Home Depot ones. If folks think this was inappropriate I would be glad to move or delete.

I totally agree, he looks great in the pic!! Now I'm even more jazzed to start mine. Got the email that my skellies have shipped so I'm going to pick up some plastic tomorrow. Did you use plastic drop cloth and if so what weight?

Thanks for the input. I was kinda thinking I should have gone bigger with the face. I believe I'm gonna use that first pumpkin for a smaller build and carve a new one for my big center piece. I'm hanging him off the front of the house and I want him to be big and to really pop...so bigger eyes...

Thanks for pointing out those differences....I was wondering and now have a better idea what to expect. I went ahead and ordered a couple of the HD skellies since the manager at our costco didn't know if they were getting the pose n stays. I plan on corpsing them us Stoloween style so it...

Looks sweet, thanks. I believe that's what I'm gonna shoot for using the wire wrapped in masking tape and then mache. I'm thinking the hands will be done similarly. I want him to be BIG with long creepy fingers.

Looking good! Can't wait to see him painted. I ordered a couple skeletons today and am going to give the Stiltbeast Studio method a try for the first time. Super excited to see what everyone is working on.

Help! I've carved my foam pumpkin and am in the process of corpsing it up with mod podge and cotton. I think I even have mod podge in my own hair lol! So everything is plugging along well but I want to add a long, creepy looking stem to him and I'm not sure what to use. This is my first pumpkin...

    General Halloween
Thanks for the heads up. I was just in the store today and they didn't have anything in yet. I ordered a couple pf the 30$ skellies to corpse up and a dog to go along with the cat I already have. Won't ship for a few weeks but at that price it's worth the wait.
