Wow! Sounds like things are really coming together for you!
We haven't done much other Halloween stuff for years, aside from maybe drive around and look at decorations. The local historical village does a Halloween event and I'd love to give that a shot - seems like we're always tight for time though, trying to get the yard ready. Maybe this year.
Glad to hear things are on track for you though. Sounds like you folks might have the best Halloween ever!
Hey you! So how's it coming? I know you said you wanted to have everything planned out before you started anything. Is the planning stage complete? We've got some company this weekend but I think I'm going to have to hit stuff hard starting Tuesday. We're having company for Halloween this year too, so unfortunately I think I'll have to work on the classics before I start concentrating on the new stuff.
You and your husband have a party as well as a haunt right? I know you do the walkthrough in the forest out back. Maybe you roll them together with an afterparty for the haunt "volunteers?"
Awww. What a nice response! I figured you might have a sock thing. Goes with the yarn hair.
Well, you've got plans to go over! That's pretty huge right there! I always have a huge list and usually it's the thing I was working on when the TOTers showed up last year that gets done this year. Hope to do better this time around.
How's the hubby's take on Halloween. I seem to remember reading you'd enlisted him to build something for you. And I remember he wasn't available to help out with your first Halloween or two, which I'm sure was rough. Is he into it now or just working hard to keep you happy? Sounds like a good catch either way.
I'm definitely wishing for fall today. Too darn hot! But then I have to pick crab apples and that's no fun. But starting to get in the Halloween spirit.
Well, it's pretty easy to spend $100 on Halloween these days. From what I've seen you could totally sell the Snow White costume! But it's gonna be hard for your husband to convince people he's not Happy with you on his arm. (*insert groan*) Grumpy probably has the most potential for fun though.
We were out looking for stuff to make yard monsters out of. There was a nice devil mask, so I'm wondering if I should buy that and wear it this year, and then I can use it to build a devil for the yard next year. Undecided. My wife is currently contemplating Joan of Arc, but she's got some time to be indecisive still.) I haven't seen anything really inspiring in the stores though.
Glad to hear you're getting excited though. Halloween goes by so fast it's good to get a nice head start.
Hey you! Happy to see you back! Just read your older post about the new house - sounds like its got tons of Halloween potential - it'd be so cool to have the woods in the back yard. Good to hear the husband has gotten aboard the Halloween train too. You're in for an awesome year!
Awww. I'm so sorry to hear that. You two really seem to do Halloween up right! Hope they get you back together soon, so you can get on with the really important stuff! All the best to the both of you. And many thanks!
Hey psox! Just wanted to say thanks for the backup in the TOT thread! I also took a look at your photos! Your costumes are awesome! Love the twisted Raggedy Ann doll. The fiance is a lucky man (don't let him forget that! )
