Hi Printersdevil! Thank you for the kind visitor message. I'm not sure how to reply so I thought I'd live you one as well. We're chugging along right with a good mix between mundane chores and Halloween chores. I'm looking forward to sending out my Secret Reaper gift. It's my first time participating and I want to spoil them! Glad to hear you're having a great time with your giftee. Witch sisters!

I am wondering if you could be so kind as to take a look at my clock that I have made for my Witches Ball 2016. I think she is about 80% done but needs those finishing touches to make her perfect.

    Thanks so much

I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you and wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow! (But I'm sure you won't need it! ;)) I know you'll be back to your spooky self in no time. :)

Your welcome ... I hope all goes well with your surgery and your recovery is speedy ! Hopefully you will be able to work on your Professor Sprout costume while you are convalescing.

I still am not sure if I post things properly but I added another album with my book that was the menu for the Witches Luncheon ... Enchanted Forest ... and commented on your comments which seem to show up on the "What's New?" section. Hope you take a look . It really was easy to do. Just use scrap booking paper that has the look you want cut it to the paper size that fits your printer and print on the paper. Saves a lot of time of doing your own cover with brown paper and distressing it or using a tea bag to age it if you are doing a lot of the same book. I could have done a better job but I did them last minute and was frugal with my paper because I didn't really have enough. Just barely covered the books.

Hilda, I am going to do the brown version of Professor Sprout because I ordered a matte finish graduation robe in brown for the dress. It came in yesterday and is perfect. I ordered from ebay and sometimes they are not what you expect. This one specifically said it was knit and in a matte finish. I was able to order by height and weight and it is perfect. I think I am going to take it to my alterations lady to make the sleeves narrower. They are huge. I will deal with that after surgery. I think most of this will wait until after surgery. I have so much to do around the house in the next few days in preparation of it. I still have not found a brown hat. However, I started a thread in the Costume section and have had some great responses.

If you have never looked at margarets photo albums, grab a cup of coffee and settle down for a delightful viewing of her numerous Witches Luncheon albums. One year her theme was an Enchanted Forest and she has some wonderful photos. I would love to have one of these in the spirit and honor of Walpurgis but I don't think I will be able to do so this year due to my rehab on the knee.

I actually have a wonderful green cape with a hood that bethene made me in a Reap last year. I could wear it over the brown if I get the sleeves dealt with and sort of combine both Prof. Sprout ideas. I hadn't really thought about using the green, too. Hmmm.... I also need to do a Mandrake for her to carry. LOL I wish I knew how to get one of those sound boxes so I could make it screem. It would be a hit at the party!!!

I am seriously thinking of getting my hair highlighted. I usually do a heavy blonde but have let it all grow out and am ready for a change. My daughter told me that I should go with silver. It would really be Sproutish, too. If only I could get my perfectly straight hair to curl enough. This is a lot of fun and I can't wait for LadySherry's party.

I'm so excited about your Professor Sprout costume! It's going to be so cute!
Now, are you going with her brown version, or her 'dressy' green version?
    Hilda ·
This is going to be fun!
I adore the idea of a Professor Sprout. I must resist. Oh the little leaves on her hat are just too dang cute.
Thanks for instigating this whole thing.
I still think a sewn one sounds so cute too. I have to decide what type I am going to make.
    Thanks again.

BTW, the RIGHT solution to the photo problem would be for Larry to find an upgrade that allows the photos to be rotated after they're uploaded. But maybe that's not technically or financially possible for him at them moment. But you're not at fault. Everyone shouldn't have to come up with a complex workflow to get around this issue.

That'd be a little like a tailor telling all his customers to lean right while they walk because he can't get the pant legs the same length. ;)

Hey you. Just saw your post about your photos being upside down. Don't be too hard on yourself. Probably a lot is related to the forums being built on older technology (such a slow process to upload too). And yeah, just computers in general.

Not sure what software you're using (if any) for managing your photos, but if your using some kind of photo manager, it'd probably help to export the photos to a different size or format after you right-side-up them. Basically do anything that makes a duplicate that's slightly different format-wise. That SHOULD kind of lock in the orientation.

But we've all had these kinds of problems and it's far far far from the end of the world. I saw the thread about it earlier (unrelated to you) and thought that was a little over the top. I'd much rather see upside down photos than no photos at all. :) And they were some lovely photos too!
