  1. Any Catholics here, perhaps silly question.

    Off-Topic Stuff
At Catholic Churches, they tend to keep the front doors locked when no one is in that part of the building if it's not a "confession" day, there usually is an office around the back of the church, or in a nearby building(either a rectory or presbytery) that you can get information from. The...
  2. Static: Foam board insulation-how do you get the 48"x8' sheets home?

    Halloween Props
I personally use my trailer, but you can ask Home Depot to rip it into 24"x8' on the panel saw in the lumber dept. that way it's a perfectly straight cut.
  3. Fog: Anyone used an ultrasonic "pond fogger" for their Halloween haunt?

    Halloween Props
Seems like an interesting idea, but the 12 jet pond fogger in the instructable goes for $183.00(...
  4. Hearse rental?

    Party Ideas. Experiences and Recipes
For a funeral a hearse costs $350.00 The only place I know of to get one is a funeral home. The only reason I know the price is that I just finished planning my brother-in-law's funeral. If I were you, I'd have the exact time and date that you need it, and see what a local funeral home says...
  5. Other: Tombstone patterns?

    Halloween Props
Now there's a great example of someone using their hobby to make money! They use pink insulation board tombstones and a CNC router to mass produce tombstones at a not too unreasonable price. Mind you I prefer to make my own, but a great idea.

  7. Building a Faux Rock Arch

    REQUEST FOR TUTURIALS GO HERE
If it were me I'd do away with the muslin/fabric, and I'd do a light weight frame (as stated above) in three pieces. I'd put chicken wire over the entire frame, and spray foam over the chicken wire. While the foam is wet, I'd sprinkle sand and light gravel for texture, then paint when dry. This...

  11. 2018 Prop Weatherproofing Mistakes

    General Halloween
If you really want water proof, dip fleece fabric into fiberglass resin then drape it, I've seen this technique used to make panels for cars, should work great as a replacement for monster mud.

Go to this link: http://www.hectorturner.com/halloween/downloads.html He has several downloadable .pdf files for tombstone designs, I think this might be just what you're looking for.

A great example of this is Terra's Beloved, I find examples of this same type of tombstone prop going back to the early 1990's on the internet. Who knows how many times this prop has been recreated?

Halloween-L might just as well be down with how many dead links they have, I've never been to ghostdroppings, so can't comment on it. I found this sight way back in the day by searching for how-to make skulls and found a post by UnOrthodox. I read that thread through, and decided I'd join to...
