It's weird to say, because obviously they're eating the hell out of your garden, but those close-up pictures of the beetles in the flower are gorgeous. So interesting to see them up close. Although, yes, they might as well all have little napkins around their necks and be calling for table service.
I have a good mold that is latex, but afraid to try the GS in it. I think it's supposed to be for concrete. Is yours latex, and no problems with using Vaseline in it? Would hate to ruin a fairly expensive mold. Good idea using the Jello mold-same thing there, you are using Vaseline as the release? I'm using 8 cheapo hollow plastic $5.99 skulls, cut ear to ear, then retaped, if I need a complete skull. No breakdown whatsoever in the plastic skulls(I'm using Vaseline too), not sure why the warts and such is happening. The first 10 or so batches came out perfect. The only other thing could be the GS itself maybe bad batch?
Hi! You're on your way with the skulls-7 down, 993 to go What are you using as the mold for your GS skulls and the mold release? Over time, my skulls became deformed, warty, etc. I've cleaned the cheapie plastic skulls, but still having issues with getting clean results. Used Vaseline as the release agent. Suggestions?
I think she's nailed it. We watch a lot of QI, which is a British panel show, and those guys are always showing up everywhere. And people popping up as different characters on Doctor Who etc. It really becomes tough to place them after a while. And I start to get the show confused.
I'd liked this tweet from a while back...someone said...
'At the BBC you can pitch a show by pointing to a random town on a map of England and saying, "A detective, but HERE.'"
Could be that people in your area keep their crap!! haha While mine sadly pass away and the kids donate all the crap. I have been to other parts of the country thrifting, and sometimes there is literally just JUNK. I know this sounds morbid, but go to goodwills that have older folks in the community.
Thanks!!! I'm sure my JBL will make it alright...however, lugging that huge, heavy planter that it's in over to the new house will be the struggle, hahaha! We have so much work to do with new new house. It's an old little Victorian. Awesome details, beautiful woodwork, a turret (yes!)...but it needs a lot of updating. It will be a labor of love, lol. The yard is just empty. I can't wait until we can fix it up how we want it, plant stuff and get my new garden in so I can get back to growing more pumpkins!!!! I hope next year!!
I have to say...that was the funniest story at the OGBA thread. I read over again and I start laughing all over. Me too about the supplies. Maybe the next thread (you can start if you want ) "show us your Pants!! I mean Paints!!"
