Wow! That sounds awesome! I don't imagine we'll see much of you before the big day then. But I hope you report back with some pictures when you get some time to flop on the couch. ;)

Doing OK. Running behind which means that everything is as it should be. : /

How goes the Halloween plans? Your posters look amazing.

Old farmhouse!?! That sounds perfect for you. I'm guessing you give up a few TOTers but probably PERFECT for parties!

Weather here has been really nice. Usually you can measure fall with a stop watch but I think we've had almost two weeks of it. A little grey and cool, but we had snow for 10 days by this time last year. So I'm happy. :)

Really? Wow! Congratulation on the new house! That's fantastic! Does it have Halloween potential?

Seems like half the folks on the forums have just bought houses. I think I must have missed the coupon. :(

Doing OK. Kinda hitting some Halloween speedbumps myself but it'll get there. :)

Hey MB!!! Thanks for the kind words on the tombstones. I can't take credit for the Bach tombstone. Lifted that from SavageEye, because I thought it was hilarious.

As far as the sharpness - they really ain't all that sharp. My wife's paint job covered up a ton of sins. I usually buy the 1 inch blue foam (the blue stuff is pricey) and glue it to some 2 inch white foam (less pricey), which doesn't cut as easily and is much more messy. Before I glue 'em together I did troughs in the white stuff for 1 inch PVC pipe, which I use for standing 'em up - I slide 'em over rebar.

I always just use an exacto knife. I think even if you were using a dremel, you'd probably want to use an exacto knife first to cut the outlines, and then you likely wouldn't need to get so close to the cut lines with the dremel.

But yeah, if you were to look up close at these tombstones, you'd see they're pretty rough looking. If I can do it, anyone can.

Whew! I was getting worried there. I had the same problem with my day job - ended up quitting a while back so I'm taking a little break until after Halloween. Not getting anywhere near as much done as I hoped. We've got 6 tombstones and some new lighting in the works - nothing major. I'm also hoping to build something like this ghost by Heresjohnny. That might be a big learning curve for me.

Anyway, ya been missed! :) Hope to see some photos of what you got going on soon. Your display always rocks!

Hi MB, what's new this year? As halloween draws close, peeking (and catching up) to the halloween scene. As I now have high speed, I can do/download faster...yay!

Hey MB! How have ya been? I'm not doing too well with my vow to draw more this year, am I? Work has been a real bear. (Not only want to gouge MY eyes out but also some of my co-workers.) You got your Halloween plans finalized for this year?
