Been super busy with work. Just now picking up your message slash. This was the worst post-Halloween shopping year for me ever. Didn't buy a thing ... probably a freudian thing. Every time I walk into the garage I see a LOT of stuff I need to put away yet and frankly, I'm not sure there is room enough in the storage areas. Oh! I did pre-order the Martha Stewart dueling banjos Skellys for $99. Supposed to be here in August. I'm thinking a still with drunk red neck skellys sitting around it. Can use a combination of my hot glowing coals and fan fire. Crap, where the heck will I put THAT stuff when it's time to store it???!!!!?

I usually start rolling things out the first of October. (It drives the hubby crazy!) lol But I try to peek peoples interest by bringing out or displaying a little at a time. Although it didn't work this year. We had a pretty low TOT count compared to last year. :( It probably won't get better until 2015 when Halloween falls on a weekend again.

Cool! Maybe I can come be the weekend before. ?? I'm always busy with my own chaos on Halloween night! lol I know what ya mean though.. no matter how early you start, there is always last minute stuff to do!! Especially when you have a lot of decorations outdoors and can't put it out until Halloween night..

I just may have to pop over and take a peek!! :) Do you only have the haunt open on Halloween night? Or do you open it up the weekend before?

Okay... I was looking at your haunt and came to the pic of the grim Reaper descending near the balcony on the outside of your house, and thought.. That looks like California.. So, I pulled up your info and I was right!! Are you in Southern California? I wouldn't be surprised if we aren't too far away from each other. :)

Nope, I'm located in Pasadena, CA. I haven't had the opportunity to really put on much of a haunt between my classes, work and the fact I live with my parents. Thanks for the offer though.

Thanks. Some of that Castle Rock setter goes back quite a few years. The oldest is now starting to dryout and crack. However, the 4&6 mil black plastic to which it is attached is still good. We plan to make some changes to the roof this year and we'll replace the older castle rock sides at the same time. Won't have much time for many other changes. The roof is a completely new build front to back and we have some big changes in the cemetary and the entrance interior.

Thank you for the info. I've been looking for a good dvd to use for a pepper ghost in my dormer window, I'm going to give this a try. I think it might work out.
