I think they only had it available for a little while - and I'm guessing it was released when the DisneyWorld version opened, even though it clearly looks like the Disneyland one on the box.

My wife still loves her Barbies. I saw the photo you posted of yours - very very cool. Do you know if they release Halloween versions every year now?

I did find the piece - I hadn't accidentally thrown it in the dumpster like I thought (You ever forget you have something in your hand?)

My older siblings had the Green Ghost game as well - that came up when I found the piece, but that was tossed long ago. I remember in a thread here someone said someone else had reissued the Green Ghost game about 15 years ago or so. (I think it was GatorDave?)

Here's a link to the Haunted Mansion game - there's one on Ebay but I can't really justify paying the $300 it's likely going to get to. The Whole thing was just cardboard with little plastic pieces so it didn't hold up very well.

I don't know why Disney doesn't reproduce these games - I'd buy one in an instant for $60 or so.

KYMMM! KYMMM! I was over at my parents house today and I found a HAUNTED MANSION BOARD GAME piece. Yeah, just a piece. :( I had the old Lakeside board game when I was a kid. Still made me feel all exited for a second. But I think I may have then accidentally thrown it in the dumpster. : / Brought home lots of stuff that I have to sort through so hopefully it's in there somewhere. I know it's silly, but I think it's kinda cool that something when I had when I was six, that was kind of a sign of things to come, is still around in some small trace.

Well we got an old plastic owl that used to hang in my Grandma's window that I'm quite fond of (posted a picture of it). And a circular saw that belonged to Grandpa, a couple motion sensor lights that my dad never got around to installing, so I can hopefully wire those up for motion activating props (and maybe use them for security too while the props are outside.) And a soldering iron and a wood plane. And hunks of wood! Those are the best. :)

Went and bought some wood today for the Ouija board, and a new mitre box because I've destroyed my old one, but I think the new one is busted, so I'll have to exchange it. Two steps forward...

(As for the house, just trying to finally get it ready to sell, but I'm sure you know the kind of drama that's involved with that.) We'll be back over there tomorrow and Sunday.

No, Kymmm. You know me. I barely get started the day before Halloween. I was hoping to get started on Sept. 1 but we've had some family stuff going on related to my parent's house which took up all of last weekend and likely at least all of next. I'll have to try and get it done during the week.

Did find some stuff there that will come in handy for Halloween if I ever get around to it.

I went for a long time without getting emails for Private Messages, but they just started up again in the last couple weeks. I have noticed on occasion not getting notifications for visitor messages, but it really seems to come and go.

No problem, Kymmm. No real news of worth here, but I wanted to say hello. It's been really hot here as well for us. We usually have a serious frost well before now, but there's none in sight. If we hadn't had the flooding earlier in the year, it'd have been an amazing growing season.

 Oh my goodness....my first Reaper and wouldn't you know it??? I get someone who did not post on the Like/Dislike thread....:(
    Pumpkin5 ·
:D Ha, Ha, you are funny! I do hope I get someone as my "victim" that will like my style...I am so excited to participate this year. I cannot wait to get "Reaping"!:)

YW! I used to be a big doll collector. sold them all a few years back! I am having a HOT weekend, ready for winter here..lol
    Pumpkin5 ·
:) Thank you for all the kind words about my props! I love creating my style of Halloween! (Sorry about the tiny flying witch picture, I will post a better one soon.):D

FINE! :) actually i just realized i have the "hagatha" witch. not the spell casting witch. i like hagatha better. she is 6.5 feet tall. and yes, the 20% off coupon is a great incentive.

i am really glad you pointed this out to me kymmm, because now i have someone to blame for buying hagatha! :) aahhhh ha ha hahahahah!

:) Thank you for the reply in the reaper thread, that helps a lot. I think I will follow your guidelines, that would work for me as well.:D

You wouldn't be laughing if you saw the furniture.

I think I'm kinda prone to bronchitis and it takes me weeks and weeks to fully recover! So I am suitably impressed. :)
    GobbyGruesome ·
How the heck did you manage to get over bronchitis in a week? You must be a superwoman.

Garage sale is Saturday-Sunday if it doesn't rain. No, I don't think anything falls into the creepy range, unless you're talking about cheap 80s furniture.

I don't have big plans this year unless things take a sudden turn for the better. Just gonna try to do an animated ouija board for the skeletons to play with.
    GobbyGruesome ·
Hey Kymmm! How ya been? Just thought I'd poke my head in and see how you're doing. Spent the day cleaning out the garage to get ready for a garage sale. Hopefully that means once it's over I'll have a clean workspace. That'll be new.

    Anything new with you?
    bamtunebam ·
    Ok Kymmm...
What is the deal with the Secret Reapers? I assume you all randomly draw names and then get that person a gift, but that Ouija board is amazing! Someone just sent that to you as a gift??? It is amazing and must have cost a fortune. Aren't there dollar limits?

Did I hear you just got back from Hawaii again? I'm jealous. It doesn't sound like I'm going anytime soon.

Anyway fill me in on the Reaper stuff will you?
