No costumes on the TOT's?? That's no fun! My favorite part of Halloween is seeing the little one's all dressed up and too afraid to come up to the door! lol Maybe after your hubby is done with school, you will end up in a better neighborhood for decorating and TOTs. What is he going to school for? How much longer does he have?
My hubby agreed to wear the King of Hearts costume.. :) It came in the mail yesterday.. I'm going to make him a bloody ax to carry around.
As for Decor.. I boarded up my windows last weekend and hung a few spider victims, put together all my life sized props and decorated my mantle. I plan on posting pics in the next week or so.
When I got to work today I had a bunch of candy, plastic bugs and a bubble gun machine with Halloween stickers all over it on my desk. There was also a note saying I had been "Boo-ed" another note had a cute little poem that said I needed to "boo" two co-workers in the next 2 days.. Fun! So, went shopping and now have to figure out how to put the gifts on peoples desk without anyone seeing! I LOVE this time of year!!
So how about you?? Done any decorating yet?

It's a good thing we don;t live closer... it could be dangerous!! lol Sounds like you and your Halloween buddy will have a nice visit. I saw the Lion King in Las Vegas a year or so ago.. Good show.. but Phantom is my fav!! :)
As for my costume, I want it to look like I just beheaded someone so, I plan on just having one line of squirted blood across the front of my dress and another across my face. I tried to get my hubby to be one of the card guards but he wouldn't go for it.. lol Like I said, we are toning it down this year.. Our living room was recently turned into a Pool Table/Poker room so I have skeletons playing pool and poker with changing portraits on the walls and lots of webs. The kitchen and family room will be the witch area. Lots of bottles and spell books etc.. the bathroom is going to be done in a "Bloody Mary" theme.. Not sure of all the details yet but a woman in the mirror and the words "Bloody Mary" are a must! ;) I always board up my windows and have the cemetery in the fron yard. I know what you mean about good intentions and life getting in the way. I started a Jack and Sally from the Nightmare before Christmas but right now they are sitting (in my bathtub..lol) unfinished.. Oh well.. NEXT YEAR!! You should be like me and plan the BIG showing for 2014. That's when Halloween is on a Friday... just make stuff and have a great display that year!! :)

Hey lady!! How's things going? Getting it all together for the big night? It's been so hot here that it makes it hard to get in the "Spirit" of Halloween.. :( I was hoping to get the boards on my windows this weekend but I don't want to be on the roof in 109 degree weather.

We are thinking about trying the party thing again this year.. But, I think I will scale it way down. I'm dressing up as the Queen of Hearts but a bloody version. Holding a severed head and blood splattered all over. :) What about you? What are your plans?
