Hi back They were old stakes from bat lawn decorations I got from Grandin Road a few years back. Tried to find them on the web for your but they seem to have vanished. I would suggest looking at cannibalizing other lawn decorations like Candy Canes and things like that. Hope that helps.
Thank you SO much for the compliment on the picture of my hearse. My camera wasn't cooperating that night so a neighbor of mine came over and took a few pics. I just loved the one of my hearse and was so pleased that he took it!!
I can't believe you said.. 'clueless about using tools so I've been too intimidated to try building so far lol '
All you need is a kitchen knife, sand paper and a sheet of 4' x 8' pink foamular; found at home Depot / not sure if Lowe's still carries foamular. Then you're on your way to making awesome tombstones. :)
And I have about a hundred more sites that make good reading, if you want those. :)
And if animation is what you want, most members on here will help you with that!! :)
So, you now have no excuse not to build. :) The weather is going to be lovely in Tennessee this weekend, I expect to see pics, by next Tuesday, of what you've made!!! LOL j/k
And I remember seeing pics of your yard. It's huge. Fill it full of tombstones!! :) And there are plenty of tutorials on building cemetery fences!!!! :) And cemetery gates/ columns. :)
And good luck! :)
BTW- up until a couple of years ago, before I found this forum, my yard haunt consisted of monsters stuffed with lawn clippings.
