I think most -- ok all -- women who have been to a gynecologist office would recognize that exam chair LOL. Unless you are going to have a mom having given birth to a zombie baby which she can be holding and the rest of her covered up, I'd probably use it as something else. That salmon color is wild. So is it motorized to raise the head section up and down? Is that part working? That might be fun to include as movement if you had an actor/doctor at that scene. I'd probably remove the...

If you don't have as many toothless children as The Skeleton Crew you can check out the auctions for example on ebay. Do a search for "acrylic resin dental teeth". Here's one link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Sets-84Pcs-Acrylic-Resin-Denture-Teeth-VITA-A1-Upper-Lower-Shade-Dental-Tool/232964271587 Looks Great Skeleton Crew!! Nice work. Love the withered skin look.

Wow interesting thread. Looks like you've perfected the method ZombieRaider. Those all look great. BTW I don't see any photos or videos at the beginning of your thread here. Were they deleted since 2018 or something else going on?

Oh that's really sad to hear TropicalJewel. Glad the loss was confined to just the garage and not your house (with pets etc inside) and assume that your car was not in there. I can feel your pain though. I too have a special place in my heart for many, many things that I have collected over the years and would hate to lose them. Do you have photos over the years that at least show some of them? Also any idea what caused the fire? I hope it wasn't due to some batteries left in a prop. I've been...

Another late comer to your thread 3pinkpoodles. Fabulous party, looks like a lot of fun, and absolutely love all the swamp/voodoo decor! I can't imagine how long it took to set up and take down but sure looked every bit worth the time. Have a few questions but heading out to dinner now and wanted to at least say wow! Thanks for all the photos for inspiration.

If you go to RetailMeNot.com and type in Grandinroad, they have a few coupons people have posted that are reported working in the last few days including one that is 20% off order and free ship. Read the details to make sure they apply to your purchase. You don't have to sign up with them to see the code, but if you decide to sometimes they will have Cash Back offers. I got some $20-30 back on some Home Depot offer they had a while ago when I bought some halloween items. Once your qualifying...

Shindigz has a Banner Sale going on. $5 off with banners starting at 9.99. Banner Sale ends Monday, 5/20. No code needed. I've designed a number of banners over the years on their site for use with my haunt (Brain research lab, carnival and side shows, and this years dino theme). My favorite is the Create-A-Banner, Indoor/Outdoor material in either the 18x54 inch size or the 54x18 inch size (used the vertical for my carnival booths mainly). The price for this size is 9.99. Other options and...

If anyone is looking for the Pryat rum barrel case that J-Man used for his recent parrot props, ebay has one listed now. Like the Squawkers parrots they come up on the site every so often. Full birds minus the packaging, instructions, remote, stand and cracker are way more prevalent. I have seen the parrot feet listed over the past few years but not that often. Just mentioning they don't get listed that often so you don't hold off buying if you see one and decide to wait.

I think we heard that the fabulous buyer for them that loved halloween and got them to add to their halloween merchandise, left the company in recent years. All I can say is I have some great items from past halloween shopping there. My local store is small and has had very limited halloween every year, sometimes had some of the items I was looking for and convenient if so, but since they were so limited I did find I'd have to hit the large CVSs to find many of the good things everyone was...

You'll get instructions with the board with close up photos and I have found them very easy to follow. Bought a few of his boards (two squawkers and one Jemmy talk). He's always willing to help if you have questions. Fun projects that bring wow and the kids love the results.

Saw that 40 of the CVS stores around the country will be closing. I know they have been a great source for many of halloween items and props over the years. Here's a USA Today article that lists the ones slated to close: https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2019/05/02/cvs-health-cvs-pharmacy-store-closing-list/3649440002/

Blade I have always loved your dinos and displays. Wish I was closer to visit. :( Made it out to HD and picked up a cement block and a few pieces of lumber. Ended up getting 6ft pieces as the 8s they had there were warped and I just want to start next week to see if the concept works. Actually the 1x4x6 boards are heavier than I thought so the advice given here about lumber length/weight was spot on. :). I'll see how the 6ft works but almost wish I could make this out of foamboard although...

Blade, sounds a little bit similar to my set up but with key variations in structural support of it and post design (yours I-beam and mine U-shaped). Cool to have someone doing this along with me this year! Can't wait to see how yours comes out and feel free to post your progress here under this thread. Should make it easier for people interested in doing an electrified fence to find ideas on constructing one and learn from our different projects. I looked into the cost of various width...

Well finally got a chance to try out my 30W LED flood light casting a shadow against our 2-story house with my 3ft T-Rex prop as the shadow source. Not bright enough to do the effect I want. Nice light for using close up on gravestones etc. though. Well back to the ebay well :D! Glad I'm doing this experimentation early for a change.

You have to have a Chocolate room... maybe making Chocolate dipped fingers and other delicacies? How about a Cotton Candy machine room...big machine with a corpse positioned in the middle spinning around and cotton candy (spider webbing) being spun around it.

Wow that’s really nice tutorial on that sign Chubstuff! I was just going to suggest a silhouette haunted house design on a post with “Winner— Best Haunted House” across the bottom of the house or across a bit of lawn area on the sign design. BTW if you’re not up to cutting a scroll-y designed sign, check out some of the stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby for their decorative wooden “frames” that you could adapt for your use. Not very expensive. These are just cutout wood designs, not real...

Just spent some more time on your fb page and post area and absolutely love your work and admire your talent. Bit too dark and gory for me but extremely well done. Had to come back and say that :D. Assume you are in the graphic/art/theatrical stage field?

I LOVE those. Fabulous!!! Love the photo with the two eggs fighting over a finger. As for making them, on your facebook pg now, but I don't grasp this part: Cheap rubber ice cube trays were used to get the teeth which were made of constructionfoam.

Assume you got your Stumps circus items. How did you like what you ordered? I was tempted to order their bearded lady etc. signs before for my carnival theme which is somewhere down the road. Been focused on other things though and never got around to it. Love to see actual photos of yours. I have I think ordered one custom banner sign from them, usually just go through Shindigz, sister site, but sometimes they do have different customizable items. Always been happy with the banners. And...

I have a coffee cup insert for my car that is a 3D printed item and I know there are different plastics that can be used to create products with the printers based on things like temperature during use, etc. Wonder however if for something like a gear that would get a lot of pressure or use (and the original already had the teeth broken off) that this option would be a good one as opposed to something that was produced in another manner. I can see making prop parts like eyeballs, hands, but...
