Ha thanks David!!! I finished the meat slicer yesterday! It has some amber shellac and a hint 'o blood! I have had some very strange things happen to me over the years, it really would explain a lot.....
Thanks David, I didn't really think about posting it on HF? I have on my FB page, and I will on our web page when it is finished (redoing parts of it right now). It was a lot of fun to do, Hugh thought he sounded dorky, but I didn't think so???
He's smart in some things and handicapped in others. It appears, we can't un-train stuff he has learned from the breeder which is causing me to partake in my Grand Daddy's cough syrup; my hair is too short to pull out.
One video showed how to spread petroleum jelly in the mold, and lightly spray with water. After putting down a layer of Great Stuff, lay in a wet strip of paper towel. Then another layer of GS, and another wet paper towel, then a little more GS. Then tap the mold on the counter top to drive out the bubbles. I let it cure for 24 hours. They have some little craters in them, but they did cure and are not gooey. I think the water and damp towels inside help with the curing. It really isn't much water, but that is what I did.
