Hello, I saw you post concerning making a flicker extension cable. I work in films and for rock music video I'm looking make an eerie flicker effect. I've build and tried the flicker cable on some low wattage lights but would like to do it on 800 watt lightbulb. I have the required dimmers, but I was wondering if you could help me with the instructions.

Thank you for the message. I am happy things turned out well on your end as well. I tell you this morning when I started to hear the good news that people still had power and were putting their stuff out intending to go on as planned, my heart just sank further and further. While I was happy for them, I was getting more miserable. The initial look on my parent's neighborhood didn't look good. I didn't see much TOT action and I was really disappointed. But as I said in my post, a glimmer of hope came around again when that tree crew came and got rid of that tree. It was like being a lion with a thorn in my paw and someone came to pull it out. The foreman for the tree crew saw I was watching and he was like, "Sorry for the noise and mess". I replied, "Sorry? Sorry! No need to say sorry as you have no idea how happy I am to see you are here to get rid of that tree". From there it just went upwards. I knew it was going to turn out good when I saw all the TOTs on my return trip from the Pizza place.

Well, I guess that is it for this year. The good news for next year is that I don't have to spend a ton of money on Halloween. All those props I made for this year are still unseen and unused. So hopefully we don't get another nasty storm again.

    Have a good EEEEEEvening.

    Geo
