Oh I had to tell you! I grew up on a farm and I've still got the side to side scar on my ankle where I fell on a scythe just like the one you posted, when I was five years old. BLEEP!!!!!!! hahaha Great and very creepy find!

:eek:You're going to kill me! With all the hurricane mess/damage on Thursday and Friday, I completely forgot to take any pictures of my bones this past weekend. I am so sorry, I'll definitely do it the next time we go down. We had damage, but mostly just limbs and shingles and a little roof damage. All in all we were really lucky, but didn't have power until late on Saturday. Killed my whole July 4th company plans....oh well...at least I didn't lose any trees. :)

:DWow! Thanks for all the information. I figured the real bats would be fragile, and then that coupled with the whole smell issue...I just may stick to fake ones. Plus, I'd be really freaky careful with real bones, bats, etc...and I would worry about them getting moist or wet....and I live in NC so humidity is a way of life, well into October. I will start looking on Craig's list for bones, but I've got tons of plastic skeletons, so I can use those too if'n I have to.:) There are all kinds of rules in NC about picking up bones and things that are real. For instance, if you find a sea turtle skeleton on the beach, you can't pick it up. They are endangered so even being in possession of the BONES is against the law. I found a really cool turtle skull on one of the barrier islands, but I couldn't pick it up. :( Doesn't seem fair...I would NEVER kill anything, but salvaging the bones seems silly.

:)Okay...I am excited to see what you come up with. :D Sounds like it'll be fantastic. I have been making bat cages and I was going to buy a taxidermy bat (a real one) but then I thought what if it smells weird/bad? I know sometimes 'stuffed' animals can be stinky. I will probably stick with the fake ones.... I will start searching on Craig's list for real bones...I find some good bargains on Craig's List too, but you have to wade through the junk to find the treasures, like a yard sale.

:DYou know you can't really do that, don't ya? You can't bait me with your new Steampunk creation, and then just leave me hanging..... come on!!! A sneak peak? Something? I love your style and the fact that it was a REAL hand??? I was so blown away... I don't even know where I'd find real bones.... So awesome! I love your gear set up, it is really extraordinary! One of my all time favorite stones.....EVER.... Thanks, but send me some preview pics...pretty please.:D;)
