Still searching for all of these props. Just added three more props to the list as well: Zombie Cowboy (2007), Lifesize Grim Reaper (2008), and Frankencuted (Or Frank-N-Cuted, 2008).

The one I built was based on the design from Pandemic Haunt Productions. I changed some of the dimensions to suit my needs, but the basic idea and layout was there and that is what I used. Their website seems to be gone, not sure if they are still in business. If you want to pm me and I might be able to send you the plans. I did change things in the construction of it due to the fact that I didn't / don't like the idea of a bolt going through a hole in a square tube for a pivot. I used...

Here is one I built a few years ago. The only thing I can envision is the whole mechanism falling from the ceiling if not very securely mounted. If the movement is somewhat fast/violent you will have the whole thing moving around if not secured. https://youtu.be/XxEPs6mbq8U If you have any questions , PM me here.

Ugh. It is raining yet again & expected to rain all day Mother's Day. I haven't planted by bed yet but there's no point if it's just going to rain for 5 days straight.

Closer to Halloween you might find seasonal Ziploc type bags too. Clear on one side, Halloween stuff on the other but clear. OT will also have sales all year & closer to the big day they will have more to choose from. I generally get all my bags from them, from larger ones to 3" paper sacks with googly eyes.

I posted a quick video to my instagram the other night (@vanoakscemetery) if you want to see. It's still using the monofilament fishing line, but even that does an alright job disappearing in the darkness. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw8fLhvF-mN/?utm_source=ig_web_button_native_share

It's finally warm & sunny enough to leave my seedlings out all night & day. I had to bring them in during yesterdays thunderstorm downpours but other than that I'm not dragging them in every night anymore.

This is kind of surprising since they just bought Aetna. I'm amazed they aren't turning those stores into walk-in clinics or something more health related. I LOVE my regular CVS pharmacy & the store in general but they barely do Halloween outside of a few bits of decor & a metric ton of candy. Mine is still in it's original spot, it's not large like newer ones & there's no drive-thru. I know that many in my area have updated the store with drive-thrus, better lighting, better selection,...

Had an idea for a floating lantern prop but have no trees or structures to use to mount the mechanism. So after thinking about how to achieve the effect for a few months, here’s what I came up with. https://youtu.be/Ns3YbiBlRH0 I’ll be swapping out the monofilament fishing line with black braid fishing line, which is stronger and much harder to see in low lighting. Enjoy!

Come on Dad...every good costume NEEDS a paintball grenade launcher or you won't fit in wit the cool kids. Without it you might as well just throw a white sheet over your head and pretend to be a ghost. BTW - it's amazing even without the grenade launcher.

We have a friend who has bought many things on FB Marketplace & swears by it. I do think that as with Craigslist you should always be careful & I think it depends on your area as what you are going to get on any given day, but so far he's been fine & the people actually seem to post the real situation with what they're selling. On Sunday we picked up an old hand crank coffee grinder for him since it was close to our house. The people posted it as "being found in our barn" & it was as...
