You really must know what you're doing photography-wise to catch moments like these while you can. They don't last long.

This whole album looks amazing. I mean, it's a fantastic looking graveyard - beautiful craftsmanship and I think your gateway is perfect. But if your graveyard looks like a million bucks, I think you just doubled your worth with these photos. They're kinda magic. :)

And I LIKE it in the front yard. I'm sure it's not as... cozy, but I bet you didn't have shadows like that before. It's yet another reminder that I need to step up my lighting game. Just two floods to get this effect?

Thanks for the friend request, BTW. I hadn't seen you on here until just recently but I've really been enjoying your posts. :)

There are 3 spotlights. Two on front corners of the graveyard, pointing toward the tree in the middle (those are the ones creating the shadows on the garage door) and then one on top of the column, pointing toward the big gable/spider (without that one, the area around the front window wasn't lit).

You're right, we absolutely didn't have this whole-house effect before moving it up front- it's nice, I'll admit..!

Thanks for filling me in on this. Halloweenie1 said a few years back that we likely had too many lights and were likely washing stuff out so we cut back and it really helped. But still having lots of issues. You've definitely got it all figured out.
