I know I haven't been on here in a really long time. My life kinda got taken over with working on the house... ok its an apartment but my wife and I call it the house. Anyways, we've been working on the house, of which our landlord, who is awesome, is letting us do whatever we want to the place so long as we're not damaging anything. So we've let our artistic urges take over and some really awesome things are happening. I will post pics when I have the chance. I decided to take my stories and turn them into narrations. I am also doing people's experiences. The subjects of my channel are Horror, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Paranormal, and Cryptozoology (dogman, bigfoot, mothman, shadow people, strange things staring out of storm drains, UFOs, ghosts, demons, robots, etc.). Most YouTube narrators who do real experiences will search the internet (like Reddit) for people's experiences. I want to actually do people's stories that have contacted me. I am already doing a friend of mine's experiences and have done 2 videos so far. I will provide the link below as well as my email for contact. I know that my videos aren't the greatest because I'm having to use an old Sansa Clip MP3 player as a microphone and I record in segments to eliminate errors and my occasional stutter that manifests itself randomly. However, The MP3 player is all that I have for now. I'm also using a computer from 2008. I love this computer and it works well for my needs but I am sharing it with my wife until we can get her a computer of her own. My very first video is done with the microphone built into my computer. It is pretty odd but I can't make it sound any different, hence the MP3 player. Nonetheless, I am doing this because it is something that is important to me. I have several projects in process and I work on them when I have the chance, but my life is pretty busy at the moment. I wanted to share this with a community that I love. The song played at the beginning of most of my videos is my own and is played by me. The logo saying "View From The Shadows" I designed, and all the pictures taken are real photos I took myself here in Chicago... although I must point out that I only used one photo for my videos until my last one that has several. I am working to grow my channel and improve my quality. I wish I could devote more time to this but with my wife and I's work schedule and with us sharing one computer I can't devote as much time to writing and making videos as I would like.but I know that will change in the future. This is a work of passion for me. Let me know what you think about my stories/videos either by email, comments on here, or by commenting on the videos themselves. I hope you like the videos!
