They were awesome reads. Probably going to re-read them again this summer/fall.

btw.. I did read Wyrd Sisters and it was a great book. Quite unique and funny.

At weddings, my Aunts would poke me in the ribs and cackle "You're next!". They stopped when I started doing the same to them at funerals.

Witching Savannah series (The Line, The Source, The Void) are worth reading. I just finished them, and while they are a little on the girl drama side, it's an interesting take on witches. The story is set in present day (though dates aren't mentioned). Not really much Halloween flavor either, but there is a lot of action. Demons, ghosts, etc.

Books are 1.99 each on Amazon.

For an interesting "Visual" of the history of witches, you must see "HAXAN" ,a silent movie with many sights you will never see in another movie, ever!
This move begins with a long introduction featuring very old artistic renderings of Witches.
When the Churchmen are forcing a Witch to give birth to all of the creatures that Satan impregnated her with... incredible!
    Hint:Those Church guys aren't the "good guys",either.
There is a sound track on the DVD we have of English translation from"Danish?"
I watched it for the visuals and was not disappointed with just that much.

I know this is an older thread but for anyone that likes the All Souls Trilogy from Deborah Harkness - she has another book coming out!!! Time's Convert is Marcus' story and it's coming out in Sept of 2018. And she just released The World of All Souls - a companion book to the trilogy. A Discovery of Witches is being made into a TV show in the UK as well. I saw some still shots on her website and it looks good. Can't wait to see it!!!
