I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I knew it wouldn't live up to the hype, no show ever does, but it was pretty well done.

Just gory enough, great makeups, good characters & storyline to start.

I've been reading the comic for years, and it was really well done and true to the source material. The Walking Dead has always been more about the characters than the zombie mayhem, and they kept to that formula although one of my co-workers complained it had no action... well... lol. Some scenes were STRAIGHT out of the comic, yet many were new or tweaked so that even if you knew the comic inside and out it was new and interesting.

I was pleasantly surprised! I watched the first episode, and so far so good. Looking forward to seeing more. Hopefully, it won't go downhill from here!

The show seems to be about the characters not just the zombies, but they gotta keep up the zombie quotient to keep the horror crowd interested.

Second show, Guts, a lot more gory than I'd expected.

Does this show seem to fly by to anyone else? I swear it leaves me wanting more and I read we are only getting 6 episodes

Six episodes this season. I hear there will be more. I still have the first three on my DVR. I won't have room for the whole series if it continues next season. I just can't bring myself to delete them so far.

I'm really enjoying it so far and glad to hear it'll be back! It's definitely in the same vein as the comic, but different enough to keep me guessing.
