    Default German Vampires!

I thought there used to be a forum for TV & Movies here. Anyway, just saw this on DVD and want to recommend.
    Therapy for a Vampire (2014)
Der Vampir auf der Couch (original title)

Anybody seen it? It is clever, quirky, gruesome and incredibly well-made. The plot summary tries to tie it to Sigmund Freud - but he's a small part of the plot there mostly there to keep things moving. If you like odd movies like The Grand Budapest Hotel, you'll probably like this offbeat vampire film.

Suspense/horror TV and movies generally are discussed over in the Horror discussion sub section (will be moving this over there right after I post).

I haven't heard of this one but sounds pretty nifty. I love the combo of horror humor, and the IMDB previews looked good.

There is debate whether or not Max Schreck in Nosferatu is the best Dracula, but he certainly is the scariest.

"We Are The Night" is a good German vampire movie. It is available on Amazon, but it is only English dubbed. I have seen the English version on FearNet.

Is there a consensus on the worst vampire in a movie because my vote is this guy.

He is from the movie "The Vampire Lovers". A part of the Karnstein trilogy. I also do not know the meaning of that character.

Worst vampire....hmm..that's a very good question! Almost even better than who is the best?

I'll have to think about that for while & see what I can come up with....worst vampire....wait...are we talking overall performance, looks, what?

I feel like comparing all the actors that played vampires is like comparing apples and oranges... but if I did had to choose, I'd pick Max Schreck. He's just too creepy!!! (and exactly how vampires should be, in my humble opinion )
