Using natural tree branch for scarecrow pole
A branch can be attached to a PVC pipe and made to look like it is all natural. I my photo only the very top is actually a branch. The PVC starts about 6" above the skeleton's hand. The hand gives no support to the "branch". It is supported by being attached to the box.
The PVC was warped with a heat gun. I used a little Great Stuff to simulate some bark. I then painted everything to give the look I wanted.

WackyChimp - I used a Funkin pumpkin to create the head but credit for the design goes to the pumpkin sentinels created by PumpkinRot.

You can see details of my build here: https://www.halloweenforum.com/hallo...row-build.html

In this situation, the Funkin is a better choice than one of the pumpkins you can get at a place like Michael's because the the thickness of the pumpkin wall is much thicker on the Funkin.

    .
Actually, for me, the link doesn't work. I know that Halloween Forum edits the links down to a manageable size while leaving the actual address link in place, but in this case it doesn't seem to be working.

Let's see if this works or they need to fix a bug.
