    Default Beltane- Halloween in Reverse?

May 1st, us Pagan types will be observing Beltane!
My second favorite holliday next to Samhain (Halloween).
They are both the same only as far as they are both fun!
But that is where they end!

    1) Beltane celebrates life! Samhain remembers the dead!
    2) Beltane is at the beginning of the cycle of life. Samhain is at the end!
    3) Samhain is mostly observed at night. Beltane during the day!
    4) Samhain is cold! Beltane is warm!
    5) Samhain is a harvest! Beltane is a fertility!
    6) Halloween, people knock on your door to receive treats. Beltane, you knock on their door to give treats!

Anyhow, anyone doing anything for the Anti-Halloween?

it's more like "reciprocal" Halloween. lol Nothing particular for us, unless we do something to celebrate the sabbat this year. We're usually so darn busy... and gosh, nowhere for a Maypole this year.

Oh well, better the real thing than the 'symbolic' thing anyway! lol

Well bother, I thought this would be the holiday when all those brats would give us candy instead. LOL
The cold winter air lets me know I'm still alive. I feel it as I breath in and see it as it leaves me. It's the point in-between I'm not sure about.....

Well I like to give the woman down the block who likes to make brownies and give to the kids she knows on Halloween, a flower basket on Beltane! I just leave it on her porch with a note that just says: Thanks and have a great summer!

    Np at all Jack,

We have been so busy for the past few months. My husband is working two jobs, and I am dealing with unpacking and I basically have to go somewhere every single day of the week. Plus a lot of my Wicca stuff is packed up for now. Also trying to decide where in the world to put my altar. lol.

If I have some time really late at night I may do a small ceremony. I have got to find all my stuff we packed everything up before the move in 2 days. lol. We had to work pretty fast. Plus it is taking me forever to unpack becuase I am having to do it all by myself. But that is kind of good in a way because I can really organise and put stuff in the right place.
