Thank you so much, chubstuff! That really means the world to me. It is great that I was sorta forced to build this...don't think I would want to build another one anytime soon, though :o That's what I'm shootin' for! Thanks! Thank you tremendously! Here's a little update for ya ~ Going back to post 13 where I started to play with making teeth, I ended up throwing most of those away, mostly because I was a fool in thinking that the shape of that upper jaw would stay intact once I...

*glances around* So, um, I'm just going to say it... I normally park on the street. Am I unintentionally being an *******? I mean, I understand the being upset with clutter, blocking the walkway, and people parking in front of YOUR place. But the house across the road parking on their side of the street? I don't see how that would be any business of mine. We've got 4 cars on 4 very different schedules. While we can all fit in the drive, it's a lot easier if I park on the...

Hey Poodles. For a slightly different effect than the flame bulbs JW posted (which are pretty cool), you can also purchase a device that makes lights flicker. LightsAlive makes something called a "MiniFlicker 2"... https://lightsalive.com/miniflicker2.html. It can run up to two devices via standard plug. They're not cheap though at $99. I bought one last year to use in our Freddy "basement" display in one of the front windows. Here's a video to show you how it looks. The fixture on top of...

Its not going to be a very dramatic prop if the lid is always open at least halfway. My suggestion is to put some kind of creature in the box and only have it open like three inches - enough so you can see the eyes of the creature. Picture that little creepy dude from Lord of the Rings peeking out with green lights illuminating his face. Maybe even put some chains over the top.

The easiest way would be to purchase led flame bulbs like these: You can also get them in green. They are not nearly as realistic as in the photos but they are pretty good if you put them behind something to diffuse the light like frosted glass or toilet paper (not making this up!). If you are looking for something more like a "short circuit" effect and you are not scared of electrical work here is a YouTube video that shows you how to create something like that.

Decided on a whim today to pour some concrete in one of the silicone molds to see how it would turn out.....Found out you have to let concrete almost completely dry before removing the mold because it cracks extremely easy when it's still even a little damp....Broke the bones off on both sides of the skull by the time I removed it from the mold and the teeth stayed in the undercut section off the mold....Was still happy with the detail enough to go in the woods to find a rock to cement it...

I can't believe that my collection has reached 70 at present and I just started buying in 2015!!! I should be ashamed of myself. The good news is there are very few pieces I want with the back collecting.

found a photo (not concept art) of Lurch from the Addams Family. I have Gomez (a chase with fencing epee) and Morticia. I really want Fester with the lightbulb...not so sure about Lurch...def not interested in Wednesday or Pugsley. there's going to be a release at end of summer for a Madame Leota, Haunted Mansion bride, mummy and opera singer. I want the Leota and the opera singer. I don't have any more info besides this:

Ours is the guy across the street, one house over. These people obviously used to or somehow imagine that they live way out in the country and conduct themselves as such. Dude parks his loud *** truck in the front yard across their sidewalk because the big driveway they have is reserved for cornhole and the multitude of appliances and other junk he accumulates hoping to strike it rich if the price of scrap metal ever comes up. He drives up his next door neighbors driveway, then cuts across...

I am hosting a "funeral home" themed party this year and I typically decorate each room in the house as though it is part of a haunted house walk-through. I am hoping to convert the whole kitchen into a morgue/embalming room. It really would be cool to make the entire room flicker with a greenish/bluish light source. Is this something I can purchase? Or do I need to create the light source to cause the flickering? I am open to both options and would love to see an video tutorials if it is...

Cheers, I am new to this site and look forward to talking with all of you. The last few years I have done an animated graveyard and witch scene. This year I hope to change it up and go with a pirate display.

I have the Cerberus prop from Spirit Halloween. It worked great for two years. Last year it worked for a day and then just stopped working completly. Does anyone know where I can find spare parts for this or what might be wrong? I suspect I need a new PC board. What are your thoughts?
