Last year I came across the large deer head in an auction house, he was singing and I was immediately drawn to him. Trouble was, he was singing country music and I had no idea if I could hack him at all, Im clueless about these things.

It was $30 and I had only $22 on me. I told the shopkeep I was interested but needed a day to inquire with you guys here on the forum on its hack-ability.

So the next afternoon I called the shop to ask about the deer and he told me the same day I was there a couple after me wanted to buy him and were to pick him up the following day.

He said I told you to buy him but I said I didnt have the cash at the time to make an on the spot purchase anyway, if I had known that he would "hold" items for people I would have asked him to do so.

So that night I look him up to see about buying him and he goes for way more than $30. Heartsick and a year later, I still badly want him.

If anyone has this thing and wants to sell him please let me know, I have big plans if I can only get my hands on it again.

That's Buck the talking-singing deer. For that price was a steal ! EBay is betting an easy $200-$250 plus shipping $30-$40 ! I bought 2 when Kmart was blowing them out awhile back for $80 ea.
They have an input jack for an mp3 / cd player, & mic so you can talk thru it, or the preset songs. If you do find one, make sure it comes with the power cord & remote. The mic really doesn't work all that well.........

There's one on EBay now for $250, they go fast & get top dollar so far I've seen !

I use one of them when i do a haunted room theme with cob webs, & bloody with the mp3 attached to say my prerecorded sayings.
When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

I love my Buck, though I use mine at Christmas as he's the lead in the Disney County Bear Christmas show I run in my display. Santa cap on his head and C7 lights in the antlers and it's all Christmas good!

This guy is probably not as big as the one you were looking for but thought it was worth a look for you.

That one would need to hacked as it doesn't look like there's a mic jack on it like the big one has. Nothing against Sweet Home but not exactly what you want to hear at Halloween! At that price though it wouldn't be a big loss to take it to the laboratory and tear it apart and see what can be done to it!

ooooh I so want one of those. I have been looking for even a regular deer head I could creep out to do an Evil Dead tribute.

    Bad luck!

Thanks GOS but I want to make an imposing life size prop, the little guy will not be very fearsome, lol.

Frankie, doing an Evil Dead presentation with the Buck would be hilarious.

MrOct31, this thread is meant to let people know that Im looking to buy, you read how I want one and that Im sickened to have lost out. Rubbing my nose in the pleasure you find with yours is kinda mean. Im sure you meant well but unless your willing to sell yours, Im still SOL and dont need reminders of how cool it is, lol.

Kittyvibe, I saw this over in the Xmas section, animated, on the Gemmy website and it says it's available at Menards this year. Doesn't say how large it is unfortunately.
