hey all..

been trying to find a nice spirit ball that wife has been wanting for a week now and i havent been able to find it at all anywhere... if you guys know where i can find 1 or are selling 1 would you please let me know.

theres 1 with a witch in it or a skeleton i think that she wants.

i dont think their sold in stores anymore that prop as been out for about 4 years now i think....but i could be wrong i have seen some in ebay recently

Last year I found the witch spirit ball at a Ross store, maybe try there?

They've been discontinued but you might have some luck on ebay.

I feel your pain... I've seen props over the years and I don't get them, only to find out later they're not avail anymore. I hate it when that happens.

There were tons of these produced and sold. Practically every place I walked into a few years back had them for sale. So hang in there.

I would keep an eye out in the following places:

eBay;
CraigsList for your area;
Ross Dress for Less stores (last year they had a white-haired guy, swamie, and witch in the stores I shopped at; always a possibility they will still have more to put out this year);
Spirit Halloween stores -- my local stores had a number of different spirit balls they put out for an opening day sale--I remember seeing the witch and skeleton there last year.
Local yard sales;
Resale shops like Goodwill will begin to put out halloween items soon;
Try posting in the Wanted to Buy area here on the HF.


BTW the spirit balls came in a full size (realistic head size) and a smaller version. Just don't want you to get surprised if you buy one somewhere online and don't get what you thought you were buying.

cool thank you all very much for the tips.. i did make an offer to someone on ebay still waiting.. hope they ok it... incase u do run into it and its not to much trouble would you please let me know which store... then i can try to contact them to have them sell it to me..lol

Good luck on your offer on eBay. I think it's really sweet that you are helping your wife find one It hasn't been that long since they got discontinued and it was a popular props so I'm sure you'll get lucky and nab one. How is you wife planning on using it?

not sure yet how or what she wants to do with it... maybe have it on the counter.. since we have a big open kitchen that people will be going in and out of for MORE DRINKS!!!.. open to suggestions

If you do a search function for "Gemmy spirit ball" you'll find a number of threads with some great ideas and some terrific tutorials if you get into modifying and building things yourself. Lots of talented, creative people here. I see that you are new to the forum, welcome!
