I have no experience in electrical stuff, so a tutorial wouldn't work for me. Instead, can I buy some sort of premade thingy that can make, say, a lamp's lightbulb gently fade in and out? Not like the "lightning box" look, more slowly fading in and out.
Is there even something available like that, that can be plugged into the lamp's plug? Cuz I'd love to own some. Thanks gang.

Yowzer, $189 is a bit out of my budget. I was hoping one of the fantastic electrician-types here could make something small and inexpensive. But thanks for trying.

2 channel, 30 bucks, so you should just blackout the other bulb if you want one channel
