Thread: Help! Boney Barney Search!

So i had one of these lil guys this year and really did some stuff to him. Added fur and things.

I am desperate to find another one! The original i had was from target. i saw ONE on ebay but when i went to buy it, someone already had!

If anyone has any ideas where i can get one of these, even used, please let me know.

Looks cool. I remember these from a few years ago, haven't seen them in any stores recently. Keep checkin' eBay, and some people have had luck getting things off of craigslist. Come this spring, maybe you'll find one at a garage sale.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but the Ace Hardware store in LaGrange Park, IL had several of these this year and last. Theymay have clearanced them all out but it's possible they're in a storage room somewhere. Might be worth a call.

I looked for you online and couldn't find one either. I just love the one I bought from Target. Haven't gotten around to modifying mine yet (he does have the beginnings of a modified dog collar and bowl however!). I like what you did to yours.

I'd suggest searching online after a month or so when anyone who picked one up on clearance for resale gets around to listing it. I'm sure you'll find another one before next halloween. Just depends on your persistance. It will probably be cheaper if you find it later in the year anyway.

I was surprised to see people post saying that they saw this last year in stores because the Target box shows a 2009 copyright date on him. Since I know the Target Boney Barney (actually packaged as "animated skeleton dog") says something different than the regular Gemmy one sold in other stores, I guess Target rebranded him for this year. Interesting. Good luck finding your second dog.

i do think the boney barney and the target ones are two different dogs...im not certain though.
