    Hey fellow HF'ers...

Honestly, I probably don't want to spend the money right away or before this halloween, but if anyone has a spare fog machine pump around, especially if it's from a Lite F/X fogger, I would like to purchase it from you. I just determined that mine went out... I bench tested it... and the rest of the fog machine works fine, it heats up like normal and the trigger switch responds correctly, the pump is just dead.... no noise at all.

any help would be great, thanks!

Does the "Ready" light come on after the fogger heats up, indicating the correct temp has been reached? Also, have you tried opening up the pump to see if there's anything jammed in there, or if there's dried fluid preventing the pump plunger from oscillating? Here's a link to a 1741 disassembly/repair for pump failures:
    Lite F/X Fogger Pump Repair ? Modd3d

If the spring retainer cap has come off, it may have jammed the plunger.
    I...have many names...

Otaku, I actually followed that how to to dissect my fogger. The ready light does come on, but when the button is depressed no noise or anything happens. The heater part heats up, but no fluid is pumped in. Like i said, I took a 12v power adapter and connected it directly to the pump leads, and nothing happened when power was connected. So I'm pretty positive the pump is dead... I don't remember if it was ran dry or something of the sort, but I'm guessing that's what did it.
