Not sure if I am suppossed to put this here but figured I'd give it a try. After 6 years of being in the dark about how to make an FCG I have finally got my ghost and rig set up (what can I say except that I get confused easy when it comes to the making of certain props lol) but need the motor. I know that grainger is no longer selling the one motor but was curious if anyone knows of another motor that I can use which works the same way and is hopefully a little cheaper. With four kids and times the way they are things have to be on the less expensive end. For anyone who is interested in my glow in the dark or black light spider webs I would even be open to some kind of trade if you have an extra motor you dont need (hey who knows..someone may have an ongoing supply of motors LOL). $20. / $25. PLUS I'll throw in some of my web art?....

Some folks are using a rotisserie motor and I heard you can get one at Home Depot or Lowes for around $30.

Depending how heavy your ghost is going to be, this motor has really good torque and make no noise at all:
