Default eletric chair ideas

We have been bitten by the halloween bug. We did a haunted house on the back porch last year and got great reviews. this year we have moved to the garage. Im searching for ideas for an electric chair room we have the chair but are struggling with the lighting and sound.

My buddy made one last year, I gave him a honeywell industrial limit switch to trigger it...I'm not sure if he attached it to one leg or to the seat. He used it to activate a pwr strip that turned on a strobe light and an orbital sander he attached to the bottom of the seat. He said it was a hit. I'll try to find out if he still has video of it online.

I made one.

We built it out of 2x4s.

I added 2 Large Electrodes that I mad out of plastic bowls and champagne glasses.

I put a bed vibrator under the seat and had a fog machine send fog up through the bottom of the chair.

I also took a couple of small waste baskets added electrodes and wiring so the looked like small transformers.

On each waste basket I attached to the top a small luminglass.

All activated on Remote

Default Electric Chair

Here is a picture of my friends chair. He used PCV to make the electrodes and ran wire to them. He put palm sander on the bottom of it to make it vibrate. He uses a remote to activate it and then he put a strobe light off to the side that turned on when the palm sander did for effect. Looked real good. You didn't need sound cause the sander make a creepy noise when its on. He is a member of this forum, user alamo.

Check out the pic of the E-chair in my albums, it's a pro job but it may give you some ideas. They used a "lightning disk" above the chair (have seen them at most gizmo stores) and they had this closed mouth scream effect everytime he would activate (he would lurch back and forth in the seat)
